Health assessment of mineral wools on the basis of bio solubility

Insulation materials made from mineral wool have been used since the beginning of the 20th century in the form of stone or glass wool for thermal, fire and sound insulation purposes. From the beginning, the most important application areas were both thermal insulation of residential and industrial buildings, as well as the technical insulation, for example, of pipes and boilers. The importance of insulating materials made from mineral wool is likely to continue to increase, since both the German government and the European Union want to reduce energy consumption drastically.

Therefore the GGM has documented the discussion on health assessment of mineral wool so far. Please, see the full article here.
